I have known Mrs. Vanessa Logan for a while now. She's one of the most gracious people you could ever meet. After seeing each other by chance at my job, she asked me to take photos at her Mother-in-love's 70th surprise birthday party.
The party was held downtown Spartanburg at the swank SMC Studio, the room decorated beautifully and filled with people who love Mrs. Thelma.
We all waited anxiously for Mrs. Thelma to arrive.
Mrs. Thelma's family really got her good!
Can you believe she's Seventy? Doesn't she look astonishing!
Dinner was then served.
After dinner, tributes were made by Mrs. Thelma's friends and family. They shared how she was a God fearing woman and a prayer warrior who prayed with her children every day before they left for school. An advid cook who is known to burn out stoves, a giving and selfless woman who loves and cares for those around her. For each person and tribute a rose was placed in a vase, it was deeply touching. The tributes really reinforced the statement "Give others flowers while they can smell them".
Mrs. Thelma was then serenaded with the song "I won't complain", poem was shared and the cake was cut. All in all it was evident that Mrs.Thelma was loved by many!
